Spring Branding.

Each spring, usually in April and May, all of the cows and calves are gathered, and sorted. This kicks off the annual spring branding. The calves are branded and vaccinated, and paired with their mothers to be turned out on spring pasture. Brandings are one of Brent's all time favorite activities. Here are a few pictures.
