My Goodness!

Our baby boy is now 10 months old!
Yep, and still no teeth.
He's so much fun, I can hardly stand it.
Some of the fun things he's doing. . .
He dances when he hears music (definitely a white boy), claps when he's done something good-- Go Brody!
He loves to play "peek-a-boo", and "I'm gonna get you."
Squeals with delight when he sees pictures of himself.
He laughs and giggles at anything amusing.
For example, a few days ago I had a sore throat. (Which I assume he shared with me.  Until Brody came along, I don't think I'd been sick in the past 10 years-- except maybe once or twice.  Now I seem to catch every little bug he has.  Not complaining...)   So I used a flashlight to try and look in his throat to see if his looked sore too.  I kept trying to move his little tongue out of the way, to take a peek, but I couldn't see past it.  He had a bad case of the giggles.
His stranger anxiety (which started at about 6 mo.)  is only getting worse, but really depends on the day. At least we feel loved.  However, today I dropped him off at my sister's house while I got my hair cut, and colored.  Megan also straightened my hair for me, as she usually does after a cut and color.  When I returned to pick up Brody, I was the stranger!  He totally didn't recognize me and clung to my sister, and cried big crocodile tears.  Sad, but hilarious.  Now we're pals again.
He holds on to furniture and walks, and even stands without holding on.
He says, "Ma ma," Da da," Uh-oh," and "Oh" to about everything else.
Waves good-bye.  Gives kisses.
Eats about anything, and is starting to prefer table food.
He's also a busy body, and into everything.
We sure love this baby boy!
