July 2015 - The first half.

In anticipation of our new family member arriving soon, we spent the 4th of July at home.
We were ready to pack and head to Arkansas at the sound of 'the' phone call.

I guess big brother was anxious and couldn't sleep either. This is what the baby monitor looks like-- to often. The trouble is, Ryker continued his bad sleep habits for months beyond the arrival of his new sibling.

On the 4th, our town has a pool party where the kids play games, and at the end they can catch a gold fish and take it home.

This lucky fishy went home with us and into the horses' water trough.
Wonder how long he survived.

Brody was so happy about his new trampoline, he got his sleeping bag out immediately to sleep out on it.
The problem was-- it was in the middle of the afternoon on a 90 degree day!

Brody took part in a kids'rodeo and was a little shy, but loved it!

This event was called 'torment the goat.'

In the next days coming, our lives were about to be blessed yet again. . .
